This autumn has been a fantastic competition season for Pen-y-Bont Gymnastics.

In the South Central Level 5 8/9 – Isla Cooper paced 1st overall – becoming Regional Champion and securing a place in the team going to the National Finals.
In the South Central Level 5 10/11 – Lara Martin placed 1st overall – becoming Regional Champion and securing a place in the team going to the National Finals.
In the South Central Level 5 12+ – Abbie Jones placed 1st overall – becoming Regional Champion, Lacey Stokes placed 5th overall and Terianna Gully placed 6th overall – Abbie and Lacey secured a place in the team going to the National Finals.
In the South Central Level 6, 8 in year – Tabitha Rigg placed 5th overall and Maja Pacholec placed 6th overall – Tabitha secured a place in the team going to the National Finals.
In the South Central Level 6, 9 in year – Isabella Cooper placed 3rd overall and Amelia Pothecary placed 4th overall – both securing a place in the team going to the National Finals.
In the South Central Level 6, 10/11 – Ella Post placed 4th overall and Addison Bartlett placed 6th overall – Ella secured a place in the team going to the National Finals,
This was a record breaking number of gymnasts going through to the Level 5 and 6 finals for Pen-y-bont Gymnastics!

The finals day was also a great success with Lara Martin becoming the Level 5 10/11 overall Champion, Isla Cooper placing 4th overall in the Level 5 8/9 competition, Abbie Jones placing 2nd overall in the Level 5 12+ competition, and Isabella Cooper placlng 4th overall in the Level 6, 9 in year.
South Central were also crowned the Level 5 team champions.

Well done to all the Pen-y-bont gymnasts who competed in these competitions – they were all a credit to our club, their coaches and themselves.
